Shoes Shoes Shoes!

Let’s take a minute just to reflect on how awesome shoes are. As you can tell I love shoes. Hence, two posts about shoes, one of them ( cough cough this one) even has its own video. This post features a video about my Jeffrey Campbell shoes. I am trying to start a collection of them, so far my mom’s collection is beating me. < I got my love of shoes from her>. Next time I see her I will be sure to make a video about her Jeffrey Campbell shoes.  Below are the pictures of the Jeffrey Campbell shoes I own. You can find Jeffrey Campbell shoes at shopakira.com

Mojito + Akira Chicago

There is a certain shoe that will definitely turn heads. I am all for unique buys. When I first saw Julian Hakes Mojito shoe. I knew it was a must have. There have been many innovators in fashion, and Hakes’s shoe defies gravity. Hakes is a London based architect who won Draper’s 2012 Footwear and Accessories award. The shoe’s futuristic look coupled with its elegant curved lines reminds me of a sci-fi movie… a very classy sci-fi movie.

The shoe is called Mojito because of the spiral cut lime in the drink. Also, the shoe is made from one continuous piece of material built to wrap around your foot. The Mojito supports the ball and heel of your foot.

If you’re like me and instantly want to buy this trendy eye catching shoe, Akira Chicago sells multiple colors of the Mojito for a great price! Here is the link http://www.shopakira.com/search.php?x=0&y=0&search_query=mojito

Crimson and Cream

I hope everyone is having a great week! I recently had some free time and decided to have a little mini photo shoot on my campus.  It looks like there is no one on campus, but it usually is filled with students walking around. I guess my friend, Ruth, and I took pictures at one of those awkward times when everyone is in class or people just tried to avoid being seen in the photos. lol.

But for for all of y’all who have never been to the state that has the most tornadoes in the world, these photos can give you a tiny taste of the place. It was cold outside that day… but cold to me is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  What can I say I am used to blazing 100 plus degree weather. Anyways, I hope you liked my outfit. I am wearing my go to top in this post. Collars are so in this season. So I love this classic black and white top with the Peter Pan collar.

Lastly, I want to thank Ruth for taking these lovely photos for me!

Roses are Red

I hope everyone is enjoying their last couple of weeks of summer weather. However, I for one am not. It has been consistently over 100 degrees down here in the south, and I am ready for fall weather and fall fashion!

My good friend Cari took these pictures for me at the lake in our town during my summer break. It is one of my favorite outfits, and I am so glad that I had some time to post this look today! I recently started my sophomore year in college , and so I have been swamped with school work and activities. I apologize for the delay.

Also, you can’t tell, but there was a boat on the water when we were taking these pictures. A guy in a boat was speeding around the lake, and then stopped right in front of where we were taking pictures! Next, he started blaring “Purple Rain” by Prince, while smoking a cigar. It was a sight to see! lol 🙂

Well, I hope you love this look! Have a wonderful week!

xoxo-
